Google Secrets

I have used Google's search facilities (simple and advanced) in my previous work, but was less familiar with Google Scholar. I was particularly interested to learn that it is possible to link an account with an institution's own resources -- so by selecting the University of Sheffield, search results include material that is then accessible through the university's online subscriptions.

  1. I like this function of Google as well. That's interesting. But I have a question. Does "search facilities" mean "search tools"? Is there any difference between that? You know, because of my limited vocabulary, I often use some simple words to express myself. However, I believe the blog is a good opportunity for me to change the situation. Can you help me?
    Thanks!( ̄▽ ̄)

  2. Hi Anna! Yes, by "search facilities" I did mean "search tools" here. I think you could use either of these terms and it would make sense.
